Is the guardianship for someone who is or will be over 18 (adult) or under the age of 18 (minor)? Be careful, in some circuits, if you are the guardian of a minor with the right to make personal decisions, you may need an 8-hour course. Our 8 Hour Course, while geared for adults, covers personal matters and could be used in these cases. Our 4 Hour Course for minors only includes property rights. Double check with your attorney for any specific requirements in your case.
After you've selected your course, the payment part comes next.
Once you've created an account and purchased a course, you can start working through the lessons right away! Go at your own pace, start and stop as needed. However, the system tracks the time spent on each lesson, not just clicks, and some lessons require more time than others. If you're getting "stuck" on a lesson, you may not have spent enough time on it. Even though you may hear it mentioned throughout the course, a live session is no longer required and has been replaced by the "Court Reports" video. Be sure to watch until the end for instructions on how to access your certificate of completion!
This course is for guardians or guardian advocates who will be serving for someone turning 18 or older. It covers both personal and property matters.
If multiple students are taking the course for the same case, each person must register separately to receive a certificate in their own name.
Use discount code EXTRA for savings on each registration.
This course is for guardians who will be serving for someone that is under 18, that has come into property from an inheritance, personal injury settlement, life insurance proceeds or other means. It only covers property matters. If you will have personal decision making for the minor, you should check with your attorney to see if this class will meet your requirements, or if you may need to take the 8 hour course.

Courses are still open for registration, but they’re being redesigned for fully on-demand, self-paced access.
We appreciate your patience during this brief transition to improve accessibility and the overall learning experience.
